The Electronics and Communication Engineering Department at Baselios Mathews II College of Engineering has been actively fostering academic and professional development through its association named "CRESCENDO." The association, aimed at providing a platform for students to enhance their technical knowledge and communication skills, was inaugurated by the former ISRO chairman, Dr. G Madhavan Nair.

In 2023, the department witnessed the initiation of "CRESCENDO" with a grand inauguration ceremony featuring Thomas K Sebastian, Technical Head of Techosa Private Limited, as the chief guest. The event, presided over by Principal Dr. L Padmasuresh, saw the participation of key dignitaries, including Director Rev. Fr. 5-Day Workshop on 'Embedded IOT' (In association with BOTZ EMBEDDED SOLUTION): To delve into the intricacies of Embedded Internet of Things (IoT), "CRESCENDO" organized a comprehensive 5-day workshop in collaboration with BOTZ EMBEDDED SOLUTION.
