A full fledged Transport Department is functioning in the college with 10 buses to provide transport facility to students and staff from various places to the college and back. The Transport department has well trained drivers ensuring hassle-free and safe transportation. Students will be monitored by a Bus Monitoring Officer in each bus to maintain discipline in the bus. The starting points are Kollam, Chavara, Anchalumoodu, Chathanoor, Ayoor, Mavelikara, Adoor, Kottarakara, and Puthoor. The bus network covers all corners and important junctions. Student can make use of the transport so that they can reach the college in time, safely and comfortably In addition to the College buses KSRTC is running bus from Adoor to BMCE.
The library further extends its arm into the virtual realm too. It makes a quantum leap by providing latest journals and technological knowhow are digitized to give the students a cutting edge over the others. The digital library boasts of a vast repository of online materials too. Online resources of books, journals, periodicals, news papers and manuscripts are available for reference. International and National Journal papers are available in CD’s and in our data repository for quick access. All final year students are strictly instructed to refer International and National Journal papers and proceedings as part of their Seminar, Mini project and Main project. We ensure that all e-resources are utilized our level maximum to achieve quality education. Our Information retrieval system is so systematic to achieve better results.
The college provides accommodation services for both boys and girls alike for strength of 100 each. The boys’ hostel is within the campus while the girls’ hostel is just a stone’s throw away from the campus. Facilities like Information counter and photocopying services are provided.
The Central Computing Facility is the Holy Grail of engineering studies. With over 500 systems in the college our labs are a symbol of pride and highly revered. The Labs have served as a nurturing ground for many innovative projects. All laboratories are equipped with the latest and best devices available in the market. These laboratories are simulated adeptly so that students can bridge the gap between academics and industry.
