The Department of Computer Science and Engineering at BMCE is started in the year 2002 with an intake of 60 students for B.Tech. The department presently offers B.Tech programme and M.Tech programme. The department has well qualified, experienced and committed faculty to provide quality industry tuned education to the students. The faculty strength of the department is 14, comprising of one Professor, three Associate Professor and nine Assistant Professors. This department is all set to keep pace with the latest developments in the field of computer science and engineering. The Department provides state of the art computing amenities and encourages active industry-institute partnership by identifying key areas of interest. The department has sufficient resources in terms of excellent workforce, equipments, books, International and National Journals, Laboratories, Ultra Modern Computer labs, accessories, class rooms, seminar hall, etc.
