Functions expected of the Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) :
- Establishing benchmarks for academic, administrative, and research activities to ensure consistent quality enhancement.
- Encouraging the adoption of innovative teaching methods, including ICT tools, experiential learning, and outcome-based education (OBE).
- Conducting workshops, seminars etc for skill enhancement and capacity building.
- Establishing a robust system to collect and analyze feedback from students, faculty, alumni, and other stakeholders to identify areas for improvement.
- Encouraging faculty and students to participate in research, patenting, and industry collaboration to foster innovation and technology development.
- Conducting internal audits to ensure adherence to quality standards in academic delivery, infrastructure, and administration.
- Recording and disseminating innovative and effective practices across departments to institutionalize excellence.
- Preparing the institution for NAAC, NBA, or other accreditation bodies by ensuring compliance with their quality criteria.
- Implementing programs to enhance students’ technical, professional, and interpersonal skills for better employability and career growth.
