Functions expected of the Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) :

• Establishing benchmarks for academic, administrative, and research activities to ensure consistent quality enhancement.
• Encouraging the adoption of innovative teaching methods, including ICT tools, experiential learning, and outcome-based education (OBE).
• Conducting workshops, seminars etc for skill enhancement and capacity building.
• Establishing a robust system to collect and analyze feedback from students, faculty, alumni, and other stakeholders to identify areas for improvement.
• Encouraging faculty and students to participate in research, patenting, and industry collaboration to foster innovation and technology development.
• Conducting internal audits to ensure adherence to quality standards in academic delivery, infrastructure, and administration.
• Recording and disseminating innovative and effective practices across departments to institutionalize excellence.
• Preparing the institution for NAAC, NBA, or other accreditation bodies by ensuring compliance with their quality criteria.
• Implementing programs to enhance students’ technical, professional, and interpersonal skills for better employability and career growth.
• Engaging stakeholders (students, parents, alumni, employers, and industry partners) in the quality assurance process.
• Advocating for eco-friendly campus initiatives and sustainable practices in engineering education.

Preparation and submission of the Annual Quality Assurance Report (AQAR) as per the guidelines and parameters of NAAC offers several benefits to engineering colleges.
