An industrial visit organized by Baselios Centre for Management for first-semester MBA students with the aim of gaining insights into the manufacturing process of Titanium Dioxide through the chloride route. This visit included exploration of mining, mineral separation, synthetic rutile, and pigment production plants, and it was conducted at Kerala Minerals and Metals Ltd (KMML). The journey commenced from the college campus at 9:30 a.m., with a total of 34 students and four coordinating faculty members participating in the trip.


On September 7, 2023, MBA students gathered at the Einstein Hall BMCE at 1.30pm to attend an interaction section with Mr. Shyam Mohan former Director ISRO.The event was a collaborative effort between BMCE and the MBA program, providing an exclusive opportunity for MBA students to engage with a luminary in the field of space science and technology. Mr. Mohan highlighted some of the most significant achievements and milestones of ISRO during his tenure as the Director He emphasized the role of innovation in solving complex problems and driving progress in the field. MBA students had the opportunity to pose questions regarding the challenges and obstacles faced by ISRO. Shyam Mohan addressed these questions, providing insights into the complexities of space missions and the strategies to overcome them.

On September 15, 2023, MBA students gathered at the Einstein Hall BMCE at 11.00 am to attend a lecture on the success story of the Indian pharmaceutical industry. The speaker for the event was Dr. Alex George, a renowned expert in the field of pharmaceuticals.Dr. Alex George began his lecture by providing an overview of the Indian pharmaceutical industry. He discussed the history of the industry and how it has evolved over the years. He also talked about the challenges that the industry has faced and how it has overcome them. Alex George then went on to discuss the factors that have contributed to the success of the Indian pharmaceutical industry. He talked about the large pool of skilled labour in India and how it has helped the industry to grow. He also discussed the low manufacturing costs in India and how this has made it an attractive location for pharmaceutical companies.
